Message from the President of CBC,
Hello, and thank
you for visiting the Internet home of the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the
Blind (CBC). CBC was formed in the mid 1990's to raise awareness of the
needs of the blind in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Through community
activities, brochures and this web site CBC has succeeded to bring issues
affecting the blind to the general public as well as community and political
leaders. CBC is a Chapter of the National Federation of the Blind-Virginia.
We are one of 11 Chapters around the Commonwealth of Virginia. Meetings are
on the 4th Saturday of each month. Please check the schedule below or call
an officer for location and time. I would like to take the opportunity to
invite you to our next meeting or social event... I assure you that once you
meet us, you will join us (dues are only $12 USD per year!)!! After touring
our web site, if there are questions, please Email me, Ken Jessup at
Kenjessup@cox.net and thank you once again for taking the time to learn
about the Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the Blind!!
